Our Story
Early out of high school, using only an old pickup truck and a chainsaw, Jeffrey Martin began servicing the local area when trees needed to be cut down. In 1990, Martin Tree Service, LLC began.
Rather than focusing on building a large business, Jeff enjoyed providing his customers with hometown values and quality service. In time, the business grew, adding more local employees and more equipment.
Our People REALLY DO Make The Difference
Our employees take on new challenges with every tree. They are the key to all we do. Along with an hourly wage, they benefit from a company health insurance policy, workers compensation insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and annual bonuses.
We are thankful for our excellent safety record. Our insurance company has given us a MOD rating, which places us among the safest tree care companies in our industry. For us, safety is more than a training program, and not just for certain high profile jobs – it applies to all we do.
Our employees participate in ongoing safety and procedural training. A number of our staff also hold certifications in various aspects of tree care.
All our full time drivers hold Class A commercial drivers’ licenses, and participate in a random drug testing program. We also have employees who are Certified Flaggers for times when traffic control is needed.
